Who Am I 

I am Dr. William Schmidt, author of Becoming a Storyteller. I am a licensed professional counselor who practices in Houston, Texas. Whether I'm assisting younger or older people, individuals, couples, families or communities, I believe that our Higher Power wishes us to co-create our world through healthy relationships with ourselves and others.

To live is to change; to be perfect is to change often.

Whatever the circumstances in your life have brought you to this new moment of growth, I can help you respond to the invitation for being and becoming your very best self. Therapy means healing. I believe that, whatever the trauma or hurt, if you can tell a story about it, you can heal it.  

I am very pleased that you have chosen me to assist you in this process.

Quien Soy

Mi nombre es William Schmidt. Soy consejero profesional licensiado. Mi oficina se ubica en Houston,Texas. Asisto a personas jovenes o mayores, individuos y parejas,  para lograr los cambios que se le llevan a una calidad de vida mejor. Cualquiera que sean la circunstancias que se le enfrentan, espero que Yo y mis asociados podamos ayudarle  responder a la invitacion de autoconocerse, madurarse y ser fuerte y feliz en medio de cualquier circunstancia de su vida.

Vivir es cambiar; para ser perfecto, hay que cambiarse a menudo.

La palabra "terapia" quiere decir "sanacion." Creo que cualquiera que sea el trauma emocional o la herida personal que se haya experimentado, si usted pudiera narrar y escribir su experiencia tambien se la puede sanar.
